Please Help Out Ladies....?

Hi everyone!! Im 22 weeks pregnant, and have high blood pressure. I was put on Aldomet which is the safest to take during pregnancy. Well I had to go off it because it actually caused major heart papiltations. So I went to a Cardiologist yesterday who gave me Toprol. 1 25mg tablet everyday. It keeps my heart rate down which is great, and lowers my BP. But Im sooooo worried about taking it. He said its completely safe, and not to worry, but I googled it and it said all these things about under growth and slow heart rate at birth. So I just wanted some stories of woman that were put on something else BESIDES aldomet and were completely fine. And their baby was fine also. So I guess the Dr. is the best one to listen to. I just wanted some other input. Thanks!!
