An accidental run over?

We were riding in our Green Machine and accidentally ran over Mister Quartermain. We were so scared, that we didn't even stop to help him but drove right home and hid on the attic! When we bought the Green Machine, the salesman told us that it was a noiseless, smooth form of transportation. The first week with it was, indeed, like a dream, and then this happened! What should we do now? We can't stay in the attic forever.
