Pets name, how did you choose it?

For our german shepard: We had just got her from the animal shelter and was in the back yard with her. My daugther was visiting and in the house on the phone. She yelled out to me if we live in Phoenix and the dog came running, so we named her Phoenix. Our La Hasa was also rescued and we named her Abby after my favorite bands Album "Abby Road" (Beatles). Our little Long Haired Chihuahua was rescued on New Years Eve so we named her Eve. I call her Evie Longoria...
